Details: 7 moving segments, 1X2 red oak sub-structure with 2" metal hinges and metal brackets for springs. 1.5" PVC over-skeleton trimmed to fit each section for locking fit secured with zip-ties. Fabric sleeve cut from zebra felt with a painted black tip.

Movement is entirely random, based on simple walking. Nothing special is required to get the tail to freely wag (though it sits still when you do). Controlled by springs and momentum and not servos or motors. Free energy? lol.

I plan on having it actually furred one day, and I may or may not delve deeper into the design to make it lighter and quieter. But for now I am SUPER pleased with the results.

this is kind-of a one-time-build for me. took a LOT of detail work that I don't intend to mass produce. Hopefully my example will inspire better designs. Stay Classy FA!!!
