First true "art card" I've ever done and I think it came off rather well. I still see problems; but, overall I am quite pleased. (What is your opinion, Cyfrostan? ) I drew just the eye at least 25 times trying to get it to look right! I'll probably post a sketch dump of those soon.
It took a bunch of hours to finish this, and it's still not as good as what the people who inspire me can do in just one hour , but it's way the heck better than when I started less than three years ago.
I got my good scanner working again, (yay!) but used a cheap photo-editor that I'm not that used to and you can see I botched the cropping at left and bottom. (left a bunch of white border that is not on the actual picture.) The actual drawing is noticeably brighter than it looks on this monitor too.
