Rest In Peace Vader.... please sign the petition
I'm a long time fallower of vader. so finding out about his death brought something very dark to me. I was in tears already. but then I found out how he died. and I was shocked and sick to my stomach. haven't felt this bad since this happened to one of my foxes. but here's what happened.
Although Vader was perfectly legal to own and completely domesticated, a crazy animal-rights activist anonymously contacted Vader's owner and told her they would report the fox if she didn't let it go. She dismissed it as anon-hate and deleted the comment like all the rest.
Well, evidently the anon did report them. They took an image of a bitten hand off of google, e-mailed it to the local police, and claimed they were bitten by the couple's pet fox.
Police came to the couple's house and, without a warrant or even proof of the bite, seized their pet fox. Later that day, the authorities returned with his collar and no body and told his owners the worst news of their life. Vader had been euthanized. Without ever having any proof that he was aggressive in any way.
Please take a moment to sign this petition put up after Vader's murder. A mandatory investigation of all aggression claims on pets. Too many people have lost their pets to spiteful assholes who fake being injured by the animal. This has to stop with Vader.

1. Why would the POLICE take the fox, and not Animal Control?
2. No police officer can legally enter a home without a warrant or other legal document.
3. Why wasn't the body returned?
4. Why was no investigation by authorities done before the fox was taken?
Sorry, but there's WAY too many questions/problems with this for me to just blindly accept it and sign an online petition.

It's police task to terminate possibly infected animal
Body didn't returned due to biohazard
I think, owner lives in state where no investigation required. I knew someone who lived in such state.. police would terminate any animal, domestic or feral at first report of attack on human. She lost her domestic skunk , I think.

because police are liadble to take animals that might be of some danger to local people.
yeah well they didn't use one. I'm not saying its leagal but without them needing to investigate. they don't need one.
I'm not saying they didn't but the owner of the fox didn't get it back. all she got back was the collar. if you don't believe me go to her tumbler sight and see if she's lying at any point.

Its okay I was only able to meet him once and I fell in love. that's actually how I came to fallowing their tumblr by vader.

I was a nagor fan of Vader. I saw him as family strang but he was one of my magor insperations when I was going to stop helping the faxes cause this had happened to 5 of them.

False police reports are a huge problem. ANYONE can complain about ANYTHING they want, and if an investigation isn't done, or not done properly, then action can be taken in situations that didn't even call for it! I've seen it first-hand.
That story and those pics really made me sad. Foxes should NEVER be treated like this!!! ;n;

Foxes are intelligent, beautiful creatures and should be treated with the same dignity and respect as other pets!! Why should someone's pet fox, who is not vicious at all, be treated less fairly than someone's big vicious attack dog that actually bites people??

Because some people say of its a FOX. It can't be here. it will eat our things. foxes are evil. NO there not. there far smarter then most house dogs. and treated correctly they can make awesome pets. vader was one.
there is no reason for how there treated this way. but it will stop with the petition. that I know. there will be never again someone's innocent pet be kiled just because somone else thought it was wrong to own her ir him.

Wow...signed the petition and i'm speechless how full of anger people are and just kill animals and people alike to do what? Proof something to themselves? Getting any satisfaction out of it? I have no idea but that guy who was responsible for vaders death should die in the same way. We dont have any rights to take lifes as we feel like doing it nor are we worth more than any other species on this planet. Its just.....wrong
you know what I felt the same way when i heard of his death.I thought people wow people are the most evil things on this planet. we can take thousands of innocent lives and not care. we call animals the beasts bor from hell I think its the other way around.
