The sight and sent of the cookie drew me onwards, it was utterly irresistible. I reached for it, and it twitched away, always just out of my reach, tempting, tantalizing. The cookie disappeared around the corner, and I followed, mesmerized by it's chocolate-choppiness. Into the living room it lead me, towards the sofa. I was so entranced, I didn't notice anybody else in the room with me.

"Gotcha!" A pair of paws grabbed me under my arms and lifted me up onto the sofa, pulling me into a cuddle as I reached desperately for the cookie. "Caught me a whopper this time, eh? Had to get your attention somehow, didn't I Chére?" I glanced up into her indigo eyes as she handed me the cookie and wrapped herself around me in a snuggle.

I giggled as I happily munched the cookie and cuddled tight up against Bell's chest. I love it when she gets playful like this. "I suppose that's one way to hook me, eh Bell?"
