But 3D printing is a real thing! :D So maybe if he did it just right, this could be printed out as a real Lego minifig! ^^

I've actually made my own custom Lego accessories with 3D printing so it's definitely possible~ :O

put the meshes for the head shape and the ceeegar and the other parts on maker shed, and people WILL print it out and paint their own different ways.

or if you really wanted to be mercinary, you could sell use licenses for people to print out your mesh while continuing to own the shape of it.

there's even a mesh market place for 3rd party purchasers of premade meshes you could probably sell it on if you were into that sort of thing.

although in the latter, lego would probably want their cut and right of pre-aproval.

of course if you don't want people to print them out, obviously you can just do none of those things.
