Another chapter finished. Enjoy!
Characters belong to me unless I say so.
The current hour is coming to a close, the Handsome Grey Wolf and the German Shepard keep up the normal conversation, and after what Burc found out he’s treating Dennis a bit differently.
“So what are you going to do after school?” Burc asks.
“Oh probably nothing go to Doony’s or stay at home.” Dennis replies.
Burc scratches his ear. “So what about football?”
The German Shepard hasn’t thought about that yet, he places his paw underneath his chin. “I don’t really know, I mean, yeah I have no clear idea what to do.”
Burc just realizes the great stupidity of his question; it wasn’t his intention to complicate Dennis’s mind or plans.
Ten more minutes left of class until the last hour of classes to conclude the high school year.
Tigus looks up at the clock.
“(Thinking) Yes! Just a little more time and then one more hour left to get through.”
He continues his reading, he’s again lost in the story, and all he has to do is wait for the bell to ring.
In the library the chubby husky is in the computer-lab part of the library, he’s all alone, but he likes it that way. There is no one to disturb him; Diamur is a writer, a fanfic writer, and he does everything from story commissions to his own work. Diamur writes for a specific website that allows fanfic he has many people that follow him on his webpage, he’s quite the well-known writer, there is one particular follower on his webpage that always reads his work and has good things to say. Diamur would like to bring his laptop but it’s too much of a hassle to lug around and on the last day of school he didn’t want to risk it. That one follower calls himself DenSh3p18 and Diamur’s username is dMur12. That specific user always manages to bring Diamur’s day up, and just a while ago Diamur has check the comments on his last submission and the first to respond is DenSh3p18. His blue eyes widen at the comments he has received for a particular story he has written, the story is very original, and I guess that what makes DenSh3p18 so interested in him.
Lately Diamur has been receiving lovely messages of praise and admiration for the stories he is able to come up with.
“Man what a story you have written, it’s good as always, and I would very much like to meet you. Or if we could do collaboration on a specific story I have in mind.” Those two sentences appear once he opens the unread letter symbol on the inbox page.
Diamur feels very good at reading those few inspiring sentences and that cute idea of meeting DenSh3p18 in person.
“Thank you again for the credit, I always wait for your response, and I like the idea of collaboration on a story that you’ve come up with.” Diamur types eagerly because he does have a hidden thing for that user. They talk to each other via the website’s messaging system.
All that they know about each other is that he’s a German Shepard and that Diamur is a Husky. The back and forth messaging can go on or hours and both have RP’d together a few times, it was based on a certain fandom or one of those sexual role playing that pops up every now and then.
In the later choice of RP’s where both met for the first time and both had their first time with each other, and the way they interacted with each other cannot be repeated. It was as though they did meet for the first time, everything was perfect they confessed feelings for each other, a well-played scenario that had a happy ending in many ways.
Outside of his crush for Tigus, DenSh3p18 came pretty close to boyfriend material. You could call it a back-up plan in case Tigus was unavailable and that’s pretty much the story after all but he still has hope, even if Tigus cannot see it.
Dennis is just a plain German Shepard or at least that is what he likes others to believe, of course being a gay football player who loves to read fanfic, and loves the movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Isn’t really accepted by others who are unkind and unreasonable, but he likes to keep it to himself, and now it seems that his secret is taking its toll on him.
It was hard to keep this a secret but he told Burc how he really felt. Of course he didn’t expect to get the bland response, he was hoping for a kiss, or something besides how they stayed away from each other.
Dennis was into The Rocky Horror Picture Show ever since he saw the movie by mistake or was it voluntary, even he doesn’t know anymore. He just knows his tail starts to wag when he hears that rockin sweet music that makes him feel like giving himself to absolute pleasure.
Dennis knows every lyric to ever song from the soundtrack and can quote memorable lines. Most times he wishes he could try out the transvestite look, he has often wondered about wearing makeup. Dennis just feels not so out of place when he hears and sings “I’m just a sweet transvestite, from transsexual, Transylvania.” In the same lower pitch at the end matching Tim Curry’s voice.
Not much know this about the slightly reclusive football player that missed all the school’s events so he could stay home and read fanfic all to himself, he told his parents that he wasn’t feeling well, and the he told the same useful lie against his team mates who invited him along to special occasions.
The German Shepard would like to tell his parents and his coach, but like anyone who is thrown into this kind of a situation he fails to set himself free. He wishes he had a different relationship with his father that didn’t revolve around football, his mother he can relate to in more than one way. Because she was the reason for his discovery of musicals that led him to The Rocky Horror Picture Show which is now his life.
Diamur is typing away diligently on the keyboard in front of the monitor, the clicking is almost hypnotic to him once he hears the sound he’s lost in another state of consciousness. Everything that he can think flows from his brain and into the individual lettered keys his furry fingers make contact with.
Words pour from his inner most thoughts fused with the passion that burns in his heart, and with the skill full manner of his typing ability he’s almost like a machine. A perfect writing machine that pours out thoughtful and understanding emotions which he can put into words and make others feel the way he does at most times.
Diamur can do anything with the support of his parents both are understandable when it comes to his decisions he can always talk to them about anything. Sometimes he wishes that his parents weren’t so lenient, that they could be a little strict, it has been awhile since he was told no, as he recalls the last time he was told no, and that was when he was a young pup. Since then his parents have always said yes and when it was dire they would set certain rules for him to abide by. His choices are rather unusual, his choice to love a tiger that fails to see the wonderful side of him, his minor relationship with the user DenSh3p18 that butters him up.
In English he would always read extra books besides what the teacher puts on the class syllabus, and he always completes both books. He has read everything from the Jane Austin, Shakespeare, Franz Kafka, George Orwell, Stephen King, Edgar Allen Poe, Elie Wiesel, and to J.K. Rowling. His practice for reading a new book that has become a ritual is to read the last page of the book before he begins to read the whole story. Say if he gets a new book he goes to the last page of the book where the story ends and reads, it a little preview of what is to happen as he reads. Whenever he is finished with his books it always goes in his collection and if it is the libraries book he will find the book online or at the nearest bookstore. His library is pretty big full of literature spanning from the advance material to the series that he enjoyed when he was younger.
Of course he does have time for the smut, he reads to find out more about sexual emotions, people might see him as being inappropriate, but he doesn’t care. All for a learning experience but he doesn’t mind pawing off to a good sexy story every once in a while. His teacher once said that he was to become a fantastic writer, even the students in those AP classes don’t have his intelligence and expansive imagination.
Dennis is just sitting in the desk waiting for the damn bell to ring.
“(Thinking) When the hell is the bell going to ring, I want to get out of this class, gah can time go any fucking faster!” He’s becoming agitated as he repositions himself in the uncomfortable chair desk combo.
Dennis can’t get his mind of the fact of reading fanfic that he’s been waiting for all day. This one slightly different football player has the raging tenacity that he shows on the field can be directed towards reading incredible fiction written by his favorite anonymous writer.
The bell is just one minute away from ringing; the few students are getting ready to speed out of the classroom to the last class of the school year.
Diamur is saving his work to his drive that he carries around with him, in this drive holds all his fanfic from unfinished works to completed stories, and it would be absolutely horrible if he lost it. He unplugs the drive form the computer and places it in his pocket for he doesn’t has the time to put the drive back into this bag in a secure location which is the top pocket. Diamur signs off the computer; he stands up, stretches his body, and exits the computer lab. He heads for the front library doors, as he passes the front desk which is occupied by the male librarian. As he reaches for the door handle the school bell rings.
Dennis gets up immediately and Burc stands up as well.
“So I’ll see you around after school, right?” Burc asks.
“Hmm maybe, but I don’t know, I guess so.” Dennis replies and then he walks away from the wolf.
Burc lets out a small sigh as Dennis leaves the classroom.
“(Thinking) I do wish he would’ve have said something earlier this school year; I had feelings for him as well, but Tigus. I am with Tigus.” Burc smiles at the thought.
“I am very lucky.” Burc comments to himself.
The wolf exits the classroom and heads to his last class that is located near the library.
Tigus hears the loud annoying bell. DING DONG DING DONG
He immediately gets up puts the manga back into his bag, and then he proceeds out into the crowded hallway. Being on the second floor is okay but when you have a class that is on the bottom then it becomes a fight to the death. Tigus sees an opening in the crowd and power walks to safety, the raging waves of humans and anthros; it’s hard to predict when the next opening will occur. His tail is lightly swaying with anticipation of when to pounce, the staircase is just a couple of feet away, and the current is shifting now is the time to act.
Tigus leaps into the crowd and he makes it to the stairs and the flow of the students is steady and calm he treads down each step there is a scuffle of his Zoris on the gripped padded steps. As he’s making his way down he feels a sharp pain shoot from the tip of his tail all the way up his spine.
“Ow! Damn it.” He immediately pulls up his tail and places it in his pocket as not to risk having it being stepped on again.
Diamur steps out of the library doors the flash drive he placed in his pocket was not properly secured and his steps motion the storage device out of place. Diamur takes a left to his last class which is a boring computer class but he passes the time by working on his fanfic. He is walking and he sees a familiar face a wolf in particular, Burc sees the Husky and just walks by him, and Diamur does the same. Neither of them look at each other not even a passing glance.
“(Thinking) Isn’t that Tigus’s boyfriend?” Diamur wonders.
The wolf is still thinking about his friend Dennis and barely recognizes Diamur.
Diamur lets the familiar wolf pass by him but what’s on Diamur’s mind is getting his favorite spot at his favorite computer. He chooses the front row for the teacher resides in the back of the class, there are four rows each row holds four computer monitors and modules. Diamur happens to choose the left front row and his favorite is the last monitor at the end close to the wall. As he is walking in his drive is wiggling out of his pocket, another student is right behind him there is a tap on the floor and both anthros stop.
Diamur turns around because he knows his drive is on the floor, the anthro behind him is Dennis and both bend down to pick up the drive on the floor, and for some odd reason both knock heads together. BAM
“Ow.” Diamur feels the sturdy bump.
“Aggh.” Dennis grabs his head. “Ah sorry about … that.” Dennis looks up and sees the cute husky before him; his Hazel eyes meet with the pure blue eyes of Diamur. Both are holding onto the small storage device and both of their index finger touch. Diamur eyes catch a bit of white chest fur above Dennis shirt collar.
They had a split second of silence and Diamur was first to break the moment between them.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to bump your head, well I was just gonna pick up my thing… wait we’re you doing the same?” Diamur asks.
Dennis nods his head. “Yeah, well… I was gonna hand …it to you.”
Diamur feels a little awkward, he regains his composure. “Thanks.” His appreciation is short and swift.
“Oh it’s no problem at all. I’m Dennis.” He extends his brown paw to Diamur.
“Nice to meet you, my name is Diamur.” He takes ahold of the firm paw and shakes.
Never before has Diamur been approached by a football player, the husky noticed the letter jacket and the manly physic of the astonishing Shepard.
“(Thinking) This husky is kinda cute and he’s pudgy. I bet he’s great to snuggle with.” Dennis breaks the handshake. “So um sorry if this comes out the wrong way, but where do you sit?”
Diamur is not fazed by the unorthodox question the enticing Shepard.
“I sit right there.” Diamur points to the last monitor in the first row.
Dennis looks and sees how secluded that particular area is.
“Well no wonder I’ve never seen you before.”
Diamur gives off a puzzled look. “Excuse me?”
Dennis senses the change in the husky’s facial expression and tries to think of something to say.
“Oh um what I mean was…I’ve never seen yo… wait I am sorry. I didn’t mean to make fun of you or anything. My bad.” Dennis feels like his distorted apology didn’t do the trick.
“Hmm well I did choose a spot where I won’t be noticed, so I guess it did its job, but next time try to be a little more conscientious about others.” Diamur turns away.
“(Thinking) Agh damn it I thought I made a new friend. I should have told him he was gorgeous. Hah but it’s too late now. (sigh)” Dennis hears the other students coming in and he walks to his spot and take a seat. His particular spot is in the third row the monitor second to the end. The Shepard’s vision of the Husky is cut off when he sits down.
Diamur sits down on the hard chair puts his bag on the floor next to his feet and he fishes out his ear phones to block out the mindless chatter of other students. He logs onto the computer and within a few minutes manages to get pass the blocked settings set on the computer, and he knows ways of getting onto his favorite websites without being redirected by the school’s blocking administrators. He goes to Youtube and types in Midnight City by M83, once he hears the beginning he thinks of Warm Bodies and he knows this sound is retro and nostalgic. He bobs his head and opens a new page and types into the search engine his website which he submits his fanfic. Diamur forgets to plug in the flash drive and he does so, once the drive has been recognized, and it’s off to write. The song is almost ending once he establishes the web page he sets his heart on its back to the Youtube to restart the song.
Dennis has his way to get pass the administrating blocking and he too is on the same website to read fanfic. Dennis first greets dMur12. “Hello how is your day?”
Diamur is typing away until he sees the notification and relpies. “Hello back, I’m having a pretty good day, it the last day of school, and so I can’t complain.” Diamur sends the message back.
DenShep18: Oh you’re on your last day too huh?
dMur12: Yep, so glad that I’ve finished high school.
DenShep18: Same here too, so what going on with those glorious fanfics of yours?
dMur12: I just finished one chapter during class. So that one is finished and as for the other ones I have to work on them a bit more.
DenShep18: Oh that cool! I can’t wait to read it! Oh I am so excited!!
dMur12: Glad to hear that, of course I always expect to hear good things from you. Heh
DenShep18: You know it! I love reading your fanfic, it’s so different, your writing style is amazing and easy to understand, and there is a balance in what you put out there for us to read.
dMur12: Thanks, that means a lot to me. I wish you had some work that I can read.
DenShep18: Well I do have some ideas.
dMur12: Really. I would like to hear them!
Their conversation lasts for a little longer and both are unaware that they are in the same classroom. They share story ideas and they move onto RP-ing and the whole class is wasted just like that these two having fun with each other not knowing they were face to face just at the beginning of class.
Tigus arrives at his last class but there is hardly anyone just six students out of the entire class, but it seems that most of them know each other. Tigus just ignores them and continues where he left off on Soul Eater, he pulls out his music and finds the perfect playlist his dubstep playlist. Once he hears the wubs and bass drops he’s in a trance to him the action scenes synch up perfectly and since there is hardly any singing he can read at the same time without having to sing along. He bobs his head to the beat and his volume level is increased until he can’t hear the other students talking or anything else but only the loud ringing of the tardy bell that rings five minutes after the first bell.
Burc gets to class and what he has is a language learning class but it seems that he barely passed this class since he’s horrible with this kind of stuff or is it because he has the worst teacher. The anthro teacher is a woman middle aged, about 5.5, a raccoon, and at the beginning of class she may seem sweet but half way through she turns bitter and mean. In her mind she’s trying everything she can to help teach her students but they hardly show any improvement and she thinks it’s the student’s fault. Even though she welcomes questions on a daily basis but when a student asks her mood instantly changes, it’s like there is something off about her.
“Alright class since today is the last day of high school for some of you; I would like to wish you luck out there.” The madam raccoon says.
Burc is surprised by what his ears are hearing from the cranky teacher, the raccoon in front of the classroom is finally being understandable.
