Ah, this looks pretty darn awesome! My wife and I really enjoyed watching the original Star Trek a couple of years ago (all three seasons). Being cast as Lt. Commander Montgomery Scott is a privilege!
You might be interested in checking out http://www.startrekcontinues.com/ It's a fan made continuation of the original series that looks just like the original (sets, costumes, lighting, sound, everything). The actors aren't exact of course, but give it a few minutes and very believable. They have Grant Imahara from Mythbusters as Sulu and Chris Doohan (the original James Doohan's son) as Scotty. I actually think Chris Doohan plays a better Scotty than Simon Pegg does. They have two full episodes now and both are well worth watching.

I rewatched the whole show when they put out the new versions with the enhanced effects, if you saw those, they were so sweet! Any viewscreen shots, starship shots, and other visual elements (like Norman's insides) were redone to look modern. Some episodes, like "The Doomsday Machine" it really made those episodes amazing. Thank you for participating! If I'd done it with all my own characters it would've been prohibitively expensive and taken three times as long! This worked well. :)
I have heard of it, they're 43 minutes, no?

We watched the original versions with all of the original effects and sounds. Maybe one day we'll watch the updated versions as several people have told me that they are impressive.
And the episodes are about 50 minutes so far which is consistent with the original series. Fewer commercials back then.
