So I can't draw trees, and I can't paint to save my life, but somehow I can paint trees? How exactly does that work?!

Not the most original idea, a floating island, but I had a vivid dream last night and it was just too beautiful to forget. Flying beasts of some kind inhabit the island, roosting out of danger and away from landbound beasts. It's almost their way of mocking animals without wings; they tend to get rather cocky about this place, jeering down from above. But bathed in the light from the sunset, glowing purple and shadowed in navy, it's a sight to behold from any angle at all.

Speedpaint, took about an hour, give or take. You can tell what order I painted the trees in... first is terrible, second is decent and the third is actually ok. No idea what I'll do with this... might develop the species and paint more? I dunno. Just figured I'd post this. :D
