Lilac the Goodra ©

One of the characters I commissioned a traditional picture of. Nut-case loved her so much I let her keep the character.
[Warning! Backstory ahead! Ye be warned!]
Lilac is a very first pokemon and also the very first slime girl to inhabit the world she lives in. She was created by a corporation accidentally, their original plan to create a slime like substance to accelerate plant growth. But they instead created Lilac, and started to focus on studies of her instead of the original product. While Lilac was constantly under surveillance in her confined room, she was never mistreated. The scientists cared about her and they did well to keep her healthy, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
It was eventually discovered, again by accident, that the Goodra's slime was applied enough to human skin it would eventually merge and turn the person into a slime pokemon themselves. Lilac had some control over it, able to turn people into specific pokemon or gender. There were several transformations over the period of time while she lived at the research lab, all she felt guilty for. She did try her best to help these people adjust to their new bodies, eventually she found out if she focused hard enough she could will her slime to not change people if she touched them or hugged them.
Eventually funding ran out and slowly the project was being dismantled. People left slowly until barely two people were around to watch over Lilac in the lab. So it wasn't a surprise when the locks finally gave out from poor maintenance that the Goodra girl easily walked out of the lab and outside, curious about the world. She found herself near the coast and traveling for a bit she ended up in a medium sized coastal city. That is where she wandered into the backyard of Autumn, wannabe writer and bookstore employee. While a little frightened of the giant slimegirl dragon in her backyard, Autumn could see that Lilac was lost and offered to let her stay the night to which a cheerful Lilac agreed.
This would lead to a friendship between the two, along with Autumn's other friend Hayley. And eventually Lilac would change both of them into pokemon girls like herself, but at the willingness of her friends bringing them closer together.

Yes it is, the slime that Summer slipped in was from samples collected over the years from Lilac.
Since the research into Lilac was having it's funding cut, they decided it was easier to just destroy excess samples. But with nothing local to handle the storage or destruction of it, they transported it across the state by train and truck. Just someone forgot to make sure one of the trucks was properly sealed.
