V hinge does provide a more fluent movement, however 
flurrycat's head was made with a straight hinge and it works just fine. 
ciaradragon's head was made with a V since it's a dragon blank, however you can't tell the two apart really. The straight hinge is more contained since it doesn't stick out

Hey, any chance of making an XL canine nose? I bought the large canine nose, trying to make a gnoll, but it ended up looking too small for the muzzle since i was wanting more of the face taken up. So any chance of one being made or commissioning a slightly larger canine nose?
