One of the two photos I submitted to The Everyman Photo Contest this year. Over Summer 2007, I was working on Cal Poly's Pier in San Luis Bay, CA. For a few weeks of the summer, we had guests on the pier--elegant terns. I happened to catch this shot without a flash on a foggy morning, which washed out a lot of the color. I love how the high ISO adds some graininess to the image and the lower shutter speed let the motion blur in.
