Not bad for my first female padded suit. I'm really happy with how the breasts turned out.

i never understood female padded suits.. they just seem like such a weird idea to invest in, not to mention a bit inappropriate for conventions. I saw a couple at AnthroCon (thankfully not outdoors) and all they did was make me feel uncomfortable :X
I mean, yea, it looks nice, and this was very well crafted! don't get me wrong, I just don't see the purpose

hm.. kinda.. but for me, seeing a female padded suit is like seeing people with boxers over their full suits. Kinda makes you think it's a murr suit or something. I mean, I have a partial suit, so I don't know if I would feel 'naked' per say with a body suit on myself, especially since my character is usually feral.
Would you say the same about male padded suits (those that have pectoral muscles and a 6 pack in the belly)? I do know some people that prefer fursuits to always be gender neutral in the body shape, but you seem to state that female padded suits are what specifically make you uncomfortable.
They are. I mean, if the muscle padding is minimal I'm ok, but most of the time it just looks awkward to me. I'm just glad they don't put in a crotch bulge.
But the female padded suits is like seeing a sexualized woman running about naked with fake breasts and possibly around children where as the muscle suits are less inappropriate since men tend to walk shirtless.
I do however don't see the harm in having either overall.
This and my overall distaste for this kind of fursuit, which is merely not my cup of tea, was brought about with seeing more poorly made ones in comparison to this one in public and convention areas. Not to mention the person wearing said suit was just slinking around in a creepy manner making anyone fell uneasy.

Arent double standards fun? I kind of thought that, with fursuits, it meant that gender lines and race barriers could be broken down. No need to draw such lines in the sand, yanno?
However, with your response, it does give a more balanced view than how your original statement came out. I honestly dont see a problem with either a male or female padded suit. If the suit lacks nipples, walking around "naked" really isnt that big of a deal. To me, having a problem with a female padded suit (that doesnt have nipples) being naked would indicate bigger problems. Afterall, there are women IRL who have large chests, and men with large muscles. It would be silly if we made them have to wear baggy garments (to hide their form) in public, while others who are less endowed in the chest wouldnt have to fall under the same rules.
honestly i think my whole distaste was because my first encounter in person with one had been an overall bad one. Like a kid being creeped out by a clown.I knew for a fact it was a dude in the suit, and they just kinda.. acted creepy while hanging around the panel area and the dealers room.
I understand your point as well, and yes I realize my view is somewhat of a double-standard. but it's the way of the world due to women being over sexualized in comparison to men. I don't like thinking of it in such a way, but pedestrians in and around a convention or furmeet may think this way, I can't count the number of both happy children and haters around cons.

Totally understand your point on the creepy thing. I dont know if I could ever be around clowns myself. "It" ruined any chance I might of had to appreciate the comedy act of a clown.
If my tone came out as facetious, it wasnt my intention except to highlight that such double standards are the things that can always be broken. Sure, we all may be lead to think that a woman's nipples are in a different context than a male's nipples (especially due to the amount of topless nudity a man can get away with vs a female) but we dont have to subscribe to it. We dont have to treat others with that same double standard, outside of the context of law (and laws can also be changed).

Familiar, compared to BND creations and his bosom suit, I think yours looks better. He made one not too long ago and its was rather just...awkward and such stuff, I don't even. This is GREAT and they're not too big, either. I would probably wear a shirt, myself or some type of cosplay to cover them up, though, especially if it wasn't a furry convention. I get self concious, but without the shirt, these look splendid and natural and they don't HAVE to have a shirt to look right :D Well done!
Well, you did good! I like them and this inspires me and makes me feel better about doing them, myself on a possible future suit. My werewolf had a bra-boob system right now and they're rather close together. I don't know if I can make them spread out farther. What would you suggest? Its just a stuffed bra. Here they are real quick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCR.....MnN2wARluRdmrQ
Should I add a cloth in the middle of the bra to expand it out or buff out the sides under the arms? That's what would make them look better. I just don't know how because you can see it through her tight fitting shirt and it looks lumpy. :( I want them to look right. I'm going to a comic-con and I know there are people there that know what boobs look like and I dont' want to be that one cosplayer that wanted boobs and they do not look right XD I would hate to be that person. I'm a perfectionist too so yeah :P

Well There are a few things you can do. You can get a larger cup size. You can get a different bra, one that is a full coverage to give a more natural shape

Or a sports bra http://fashionfalltrends.com/wp-con.....sports-bra.jpg
because it will allow you to add more padding above the breast. I ended up having to carve mine out of foam because soft padding didn't hold the desired shape.

Hm. Okay, I think I'll get a larger cup size, then that will give me a wider circumference :) I had a feeling if I went bigger it might be better and I'll try to look for a bra of that kind, specifically, actually. Thanks for the confirmation. I had a few tell me they were close together and I don't want to tough it out and go looking like that its just...no, you can go so wrong with boobs if you're not careful and I don't want to, LOL. Thanks again :)
Is the breast padding just foam? :) if so I may make some tiny alterations to my cirrent bodysuit so that my actual breasts are a bit more represented to make me appear a bit more feminine ^^ l look very flat chested in suit because my breasts get flattened against the pressure of the suit, and fur can lose alot of detail! Mine would be quite smaller than these though, id want just enough so that people are like "oh hey, female suit!" X3
I do stuffed suits too

Definitely like this fursuit. The placement of the chest worked well and in proportion with the head and body overall. Padding in a suit can definitely add complexity to the creation process. Im curious if the padding on the hips and start of the thighs were tapered at all. It doesnt appear so due to the dramatic transition between the hips and the wearer's natural form of the legs.
Good job on the breasts! I've never had to make a boob suit yet, but yours is honestly one of the best I've seen. It's a shame about the thighs, but I've been in a similar "Oh fuck that didn't work" situation where it's too late to change anything. You'll just know better for next time! Learning is fuuun
