ipod is dead
I am not sad since it had a good life, lasted a long time and always worked but tonight I accidently dropped my iPod….again. I usually don’t worry since it has taken a beating in the past (honestly I never thought these things were fragile since its been dropped numerous times, as well as having a few of my ex’s sit on it. :p) However this time when it bounced the back shell and front shell came apart which doesn’t happen and the ribbon cable from the logic board and the headphone jack tore in half. So the ipods head phone jack is dead which kills any value it has as an ipod.
Edit: Actually replacing the ribbon cable for a headphone jack isn’t that pricey as I thought ( Link -> http://www.powerbookmedic.com/iPod-.....W-p-16906.html ) so I guess it’s just injured for now. Also I’ve tried using the remote I had as a 2nd option and that works too.
Text is staight from journal but in case anyone wanted to see it.
