If you're going for realistic though you're going to have to add a bunch more detail which means tossing in a lot more brush strokes.

I'm like this one a lot, especially j the fog effect after the meadow when looking at a distance.

instead of light and dark green, try expanding your palette. Grass has yellows, browns, golds, blues, as well as greens. Also, the hills don't seem to have much logic behind them, except for dark green lumps behind regular colored grass. where are the shadows, the highlights, cast shadows? Also, as things get closer to the front, you need to get more detailed with how you portray light. using those squiggles is unacceptable. You did do good fading values and shapes into deep space, however, but some might argue that the fade came on a little too sudden, unless you were going for a foggy look.

I agree on all of that except for the part about the hills- Some hills actually look like that at a distance, such as the Smokey Mountains.

I wasn't talking about the hills in the background, those are well done. I was referring to the hills more in the foreground, where it's suddenly a transition to a dark green hue.

OH, ok. I thought those were hummocks, not hills. xD

I need to learn how to make grass this good.
