More art from my main Novel book. There's David, and a new fellow. I have yet to get art done for the Tusands, an humanoid race of aliens from my universe.

Othang, met David while at boot camp, when after a training accident resulted in breaking his right leg.(Tusand are thinner, more agile then humans, but also more brittle in their bones.)

Since then, the two trained apprentices used their spear time to pratice their magical skills, improving them by themselves as they we're the only trained Mages there, despite fairly new and unexperience.


Now the Military welcomes anyone who knew how to wield magic as it has a whole host of uses, but they are strict with rules regard casting, including using it to attack one another. David and Othang, however discovered that in fighting one another in a formal short of Duel, the stress of quick casting, as well fending off powerful spells, helped improve their strengths rather quickly, despite it dangers. It also helped that they practice deep in the woods when they duel, to avoid the eyes of their instructors.


Also, in my universe, there are three tools that Mages will pick with to cast.

Wands, which are good for focus, and targeting

Staffs, which helps spread magic father out, which is great for area of effect spells

and free hand, which included stones, rings and small artifacts. These can vary with effects on casting depending on the item in question.

Othang prefers the wand, while David taken up the staff, both in the art shows their strengths of their implements
