I snorted so, funny comic. As for your issues with commissions? Welcome to FA. The only other reason that the word free catches attention is because people watch so many others that journal entries sometime out number the submission entries 100 to 1. However the word FREE seems to stick out when scanning the titles.

At least that's my theory on it, i WISH I could alphabetize journals by artist names, it'd make reading the certain ones I've marked as "I wanna see how your word magic works"

As someone who almost never reads journals, it's easy to see why. The system is clogged with begging, YCH slots, rants about pointless crap, and "this guy you don't care about is taking commissions now!" stuff that anything of value or importance tends to get lost.

I fully agree. Especially about about rants and pointless junk.

Sorry about your commissions issue. I imagine it would get you a little peeved at something like that, demands and rules not being met.

I have yet to be interested in commissions anyways, only because I'm not quite at the age to have a proper payment transfer (aka PayPal), but I do read your journals, and I can understand why it's frustrating to have people note you asking for free stuff.

FA has a commission information tab. I suggest that everyone take the time to fill this tab out and it helps prevent the issue of people having to hunt through your journals to locate the one journal they want. Remember, these aren't people, they're customers, inconvenienced customers are customers that aren't spending money.

I've been using it for over a year now. Never had trouble with it.

I read you're journals, heck I tend to check everyone's journals and commission info tab before bothering them. That is a good joke though.

You will never ever be able to stop people from failing to read your journals.

But you can be able to stop yourself being irritated by it. Although if your irritation keeps producing comedy gold like this I'd rather it continue

i stop reading journals for 2 reason
the fact it said free but wasnt (but stlll paid if it didnt say free either way)
and
also a journal for more advertisement that i really dont want to read on

Also, if they're so keen on the word "Free," why not title it something like, "Free Information on Commissions."? They'd probably only see the words, "free" and "commissions," and might finally read it.

I hear ya on that one. I always meant to try putting up a picture with the word "Commissions" up in biiiig bold letters, I bet that would work. Journals easily get overlooked :/

Maybe you should do an experiment and try that; put up a picture that specifies that you're doing commissions along with a journal, and link to the journal in the picture or just put your info on the image's description.
