So I chose to make these fellas a species. Cuz I like designing/drawing them.

They tend to live in family groups of 3 to 15. They are tight-knit, and live by strong codes of conduct that vary on the group.

The species is genderless.

There are various subspecies, mostly determined by which spider appendage or ability they have.
This fellow is the most common, the Sharp-Limbed Variation.
The next most common are the eight-legged, followed by web spitting, and lastly venomous. It's rare for mixes of subspecies to exist.

Colors mimic those of spiders- white, black, and extremely bright colors are rare.

They have five eyes- the two normal ones involve normal vision similar to a humans.
The centered eye is best adjusted for night-time use.
The two closed eyes with brightly colored pupils are used for hunting, as they can detect heat signatures.

If they feel unsafe, they can produce pheromones that induce hallucinations or extreme paranoia.

All have goat hooves, five eyes, and a functioning hand on the tail.

-Unique to Sharp-Limbed: The sharp arm/stinger-like appendages on their shoulder

-Unique to eight legged: Two extra sets of legs without hooves.

- unique to Web-Spitting: a gland that allows them to create web that they use to build homes or defend themselves, and two spider-leg-like limbs on their shoulders to help arrange webs

-Unique to Venomous: Long fangs, venom gland.

Note: they can and normally do wear body paint
