DRAGONS FTW!!!!

Wish I could draw dragons..I've got 2 very important dragons to draw!!!!
Kiyo, my guardian, and Bubbles, his girlfriend....there's an attempt of her in my gallery...can you give me any pointers?

Sure :) They might not be exceedingly good mind - I'm not used to really giving people any advice.

o. If it's a Western dragon, they tend to have a very equine-like body structure. Especially in the head/legs. The wings are generally like those of a bat - imagine you fingers being extended and that's a pretty good idea for all the joints and everything.
o. Eastern dragons tend to be more serpentine and have qualities of far more animals; in Oriental mythology, it's generally nine. Eg, fish scales, camel head, deer antlers, tigers claws etc.
o. IRL animals are a *real* help; even just watching a neighbours cat can give clues to where the muscles would attach, how they'd move etc.

Thanks it's highly appreciated...Kiyo is a Wyvern I'd suppose. He's a hybrid, half black dragon, half silver and Bubbles is a Hydra.
