This is the original prototype before I made the atmosphere blue to represent the watery theme of the picture. The colors are more life-like rather than dream-worldy.

Dragon riding in a silver surfboard, a real silver surfer. I think this still attains that dreamscape feel in it, a refracting wave creating rainbows in an atmosphere of sunrise that so to shines just as prismatic Another aspect I see in this image is an innate effect of fractal blending, one style in the sky, another in the ocean waves, similar to a snakes skin. Everything in it has a sense of a very constant state of movement is prevent as well, as the motion blur that occurs with intensity equivalent to distance shows fourth both in the sea and sky to some green land in its distance dividing the horizon.
