Stormy sure has a way with words. He somehow managed to get me out of my house and into the park; he taught me how to fly! Well, mostly fly anyway. I still have trouble with landings -- I may have made Final Cut's jelly sandwich look like bloody murder... and she may have taken inspiration from that -- but regardless, I still had fun. I was surprised my artificial wing concept took off so well, so to speak! I learned that, with encouraging friends, anything can be possible if you set your mind to it. I was once just a wriggly bag of nerves, but thanks to Dahlia, Stormy, and Final... I'm learning to spread my wings and take to the sky like a normal pegasus. Maybe someday he can show me Cloudsdale and his Storm Patrol. Hey, anything is possible, right?

-Foxglove, Dahlia Rose's friggin adorable florist assistant.
-Dahlia Rose, Booster's girlfriend and room mate. She owns a florist in Ponyville.
-Final Cut, one of Booster's best friends. She makes horror films and has a knack for pulling jumpscares. Today, though, she's proud of her friend finally taking a leap of faith.
-Booster Flame, a nervous pegasus who was born with only one fully developed wing, the other just formed a little nub. He has an incredible engineering skill, able to invent steam and solar powered devices easily accessible by other ponies. One such invention is the artificial wing, which he is taking on its first test flight.
-Stormy Night, Booster's other best friend. He runs a team of pegasi known as the Storm Patrol, who keep rough weather away from small towns such as Ponyville and Appleloosa. Today, he is Booster's flight instructor, helping the nervous fella get off the ground for the first time.
-Blue Yonder, Stormy's little brother. He may be small, but his adorably huge wings allow him brief moments of flight. He's just as excited as his brother to see Booster take his first flight.
