They wanted a deer (yeah, MOAR deers), kemonomimi (yay, first human Flammaesurit! >w<), sexyyyy and with face paint inspired by Dia de los Muertos!
I haven't looked up many refs for Dia de los Muertos, maybe 2-3, so I'm not really sure if the design looks alright...basically I put together skulls/bones, flowers and bright colors xD

I was reading your descriptions.
About your design based on "Dia de Muertos" is fine, basically theme contains flowers, bones, skulls & colorfull design. IT´s just fine!
No matter if we reffer as Dead Day, the basic idea gets a "living" & colorfull Holyday.
