On the last day of the reptile appreciation weekend at the Virginia Living Museum, these seahorses were all together on the grass in their tank. Twas a cool shot I couldn't afford to ignore. You all know that usually females give birth, yes? Well, in the seahorse world, it's reversed. Males are the ones that give birth to the young. After mating, the females lay their eggs in a pouch located on the male. Wacky, isn't it?
