Friends picked up on Pathfinder again so I did a reboot of sorts on him regarding his background, personality, and some general stats.

The craving for adventure finally got to him while living his normal (and unimpressive) life at his hometown of Gallant when he discovered a mysterious orb. He thought this was a sign to finally uncover the many mysteries that have been told throughout the world. Unfortunately, he hasn't gotten anywhere, and the only exciting accomplishment he's made since setting out was working at an inn located in the grand capital...
Disheartened, he felt like a fool for thinking of unearthing ancient treasures, and taking down powerful creatures until one day, his orb started to glow in the middle of the town square. He wasn't the only one in possession of one; two others shared an orb similar to his. After a bit of some trouble regarding thieves in town, and a plea to help someone clear their name, Talix begins to have second thoughts on his original dream when he realized the dark and grim challenges he had to face.
However, he was being depended on, and with the help of his companions (whether it was fate or just bad luck) he knew he had to make it through. Perhaps, he'll find out more about these orbs along the way...
