Yeah. I wanted to try something new with my fursona Effra. It's based on a story I start to write a few weeks ago: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12744525/
Now, this is a first try about this form and I'm not sure yet about the design. But this is basically the idea I wanted to get. =)

Well that's fair :P I suppose I should have phrased that better. No offense was meant, just constrictive criticism!
Pixel art is an awesome style, one of my personal favorites, but it is surprisingly complicated. Whenever I try to do it, I always refer back to that link. I like to always improve my work by implementing one of the techniques presented there that I've never tried before. For example, I think that this piece could really benefit from some directional lighting instead of pillow shading, and also a going over and removing some of the banding.
In other words, I think its great! But I see some ways in which you could improve the design, if you were so inclined.

Oh, gotcha. My apologies again. your comment said "If you think it could be better, feel free to let me a comment then." so I thought you were asking for active constructive criticism. I saw some pixel art, and a request for critique, so I let my enthusiasm get the better of me. Whoops!
I gotta say though (i promise this is the last time I'll pester you!) that one of the most rewarding things about making art is seeing personal improvement in your style, skills, and knowledge. That's how it is for me, and I haven't found a better way to improve other than peer review.
But anyway, feel free to disregard my posts, and hide them if I was being annoying!

Don't worry about it. You tried to help me after all. =)
As for my sprites here... Well, all I can say... The side view has... Many problems for me... Especially the belly which I'm quite not sure about it. Like it's a bit too high or something like that.
There is aslo the junction between the bulb and the back which caused me problems when I drew it.
So... Yeah. I don't know how to improve that. I know what's wrong but... I can't seem to find a way to make it better. Even with suggestions, I'm not sure if that would help me. I tried to be the closest as I wanted to get. Well, at least, I give an idea on how it should look like.
Of course, I wouldn't mind if someone edit for me, I'm ready to do collabs.
