I think its just the angle of the hallway that makes it look awkward.
With the shadows and such it looks as if the walkway is actually a wall behind them.
I think they look pretty good themselves.

Well, no, I don't think the bg looks awkward, I was talking about Link and Ammy themselves, but it is probably the angle. The shadows on the walls and floor are just there due to the small amount of light.

Other person thinks it looks like a pillar rather than a hallway.
I think you did well with them. Its just the background that needs a little fixing up is all.

We dont see certain things in our pieces that others do and sometimes we see far more mistakes than anyone else would. =P

It's finished though, is the thing. I didn't keep the working file after I finished it, either. I RARELY post wips of anything, and if I do, WIP is in the title.

Gotcha. I keep all of my old work. Its a hassle but worth it if i want to go back and add on. :3

I keep all my old work, too, but I don't keep the sketches or working files for them. I only have 1 TB of space on my hard drive, and I keep everything on it: My art, other people's art, tutorials and other resources, all my music, all my remixes, all the working files for my remixes, midis, let's play recordings and finished videos... it's a lot

I suppose its harder to find space for digital files than traditional work like i do.
I just have to have enough room in my folder and closet to store the work.

I know alot are gonna complain about the angle, but personally I'm amazed that this went from sketch to final product and was done in one night, that's an accomplishment,

Well, including the time it took to sketch, the whole process couldn't have taken more than maybe 3 hours. I was just a lot faster with this one than I was with the others because I want to finish saving up my commission money as fast as I can so I can go get my hair dyed. The money I make on my own with commissions is the only spending money I have; my mom only wants to give me money for necessities like gas and pet supplies.

I can't know for sure how much getting my hair dyed the way I want it will cost, but assuming it's as expensive as I think it is, I'll only be halfway there after this one's paid for... I've probably got at least another month to go before I've saved enough, and that's assuming I start getting people other than you wanting to buy commissions and adoptables.

Well, keep up the good work, and I'll keep asking and paying for more...
