Cryptex Dice Vault

Here's another woodworking project by me, a dice holder in the form of a cryptex. Set the reels to the correct code, and you can open it to gain access to the dice within.

This was made of elm and padauk, with a PVC core.

Cool stuff. This appeals to me on two levels, 1st I love handcrafted things and 2nd is my love for fun little gadgets. And this I like for the fun little novelty for storing your dice or similar small items.

You know.... well have you played "The Wolf Among Us" from Tell Tale Games? They have something in there that is a puzzle with something very similar to this, though it uses a bit of a pattern to use for the code instead.
