Yes, that was really nice of him to accept to have his pic take with me. He was really tired because of the travel from US to the con, I was really happy he could make it there today, and I hope he will feel better tomorrow :)

You know, everyone can react pretty differently, and Lisa is a very unusual fursuit. So I can understand people being a bit afraid by her or feeling "unsafe". He was pretty exhausted too, so you never know how people can react.

*nods! (as if knowing what she's talking about)* Yeah. I can imagine. I'm not much of a suiter -- not I've had the chance to be into any conventions, but I'm guessing that seeing a large 'sensual' vixen approaching could send an scary message. Heh. But no need to drill on that! things gone well, and this picture is awesome!

This con is a small one in quite litteraly what is the the middle of knowhere in France ^_^! It's funny to see a scifi con in a very small french town, it's very unexpected, but they really make a greeat work there, and every year they succed in inviting a few nice guest :)

Cleary then I need to get into a position to visit conventions in France then.

Depending from what part of the country you're, maybe you could try to go to Facts http://www.facts.be/
They have plenty of nice guests there too. I hope I'll be able to go there this year :)

Yes, I'm in Germany ( why my stories start off with Germans ;) ) and, well, I checked FACTS out earlier, but unless I have a new job the travelling distance to FACTS is ... Blehhh...

With some luck my next job will be closer to the border, then thigns should be easier.

If scifi events in germany are made the same way than the one in France, maybe there is one just around the corner of your street without you being able to know it ^_^!
Try to look for some scifi costume associations in your area, maybe there is a small scifi con in your area without you knowing it, or people going to some con living near you that would like to bring you there and split travel expense.

Mr Baker was at plenty of events i attended along the years. Always nice, always there... Even when exhausted ( don't forget he's quite old)..
One of the sweetest actors i met.

Collin was pretty exhausted too. Their plane have just arrived in the morning that day at like 5 O'clock. So it was already a long day, even if the con did open at 1pm only and they could get some rest before. But as usual with jet lag from US to Europe, it's still difficult to adapt quickly to it, and they will be probably back to US before adapting to our time zone ^_^!

He is still going to a few con, and he is really a nice guy. Try to look for scifi con in germany and belguim he can still shows up in one that could be local to you.
