Personal project.
"Doctore" isn't his name... it's the title given to the head trainer of the gladiators in a ludus. His real name is Turresh. And yes, he is Deren's Doctore.

I am currently writing Deren's backstory in comic script form (which I will eventually make public), and this guy is a major player in part 2 of said story, so I figured that I'd get him out on paper to have a better understanding of his appearance while writing.
He is a J'warril, a race of bipedal smilodon aliens. I figured that having a big, hulking cat as a trainer would be pretty intimidating. Especially when Deren is new to the ludus. He has the markings of a golden tiger.
The whip is used for both a training aid and to dish out punishment when the gladiators get out of line.
