D'aww. This is a super sweet picture of Cadence and Shining Armor.
It's not easy keeping a whole kingdom running safely. I'm sure Shining Armor must get tired and little naps like this definitely make him feel so much better. Especially with Cadence keeping a close, caring eye on him.

CADENCE: This castle is just so, well, this castle. *Moves about* Perhaps if I used some of my magic, I could create a more romantic setting so that we can just focus on enjoying each other as we use our love to make a foal.
*Cadence concentrates and the room turns a purplish-pink*

I've wanted to do some more "FiM Fiction" and I will take your suggestion deeply into consideration. :)
Lately, aside from Spike, I am really getting into Cadence and Shining Armor.

There are loads of ideas I'd like to write. It's a matter of finding time to do them. Though, when time allows, I think I may try taking this concept on. Cadence and Shining Armor are becoming new faves and I want to have some cute, couples fun. :)

I had one or two ideas for a sotry:
First Idea:
Shining and Cadance are trying to become a foal for a while but nothing seems to work. And adoption is not so easy as there are no orphans (damn happy and peaceful land). Cadance is really sad about that and Shining will help her but has no idea how...
One day, he found a story in the newspapers about "Adult-Foals" and he got a crazy idea to help his wife to feel like a mother...
Second Idea:
Cadance: "Shining, sweetheart?"
Shining: "Yes?"
Cadance: "I... I wish a foal. But I fear with our duties in the kingdom we would have not much time for the child..."
Shining: "Yes, that could be a problem. Do you have a idea what we could do?"
Cadance: "Well... yes. But I dont know if you will help me with that..."
Shining: "Cadance. I love you. I would do anything to help you."
Cadance: "Really?
Shining: "Yes, Really."
Cadance: "Well, then follow me please."
Shining followed his wife in a dark room, which only light come from the open door. As they both entered, Cadance closed the door, so it was totally dark. As Cadance activated the light, Shining saw a what the room was. A Nursery. But Everything seems a bit to... big?
Shining looks to his wife with a confused face: "Cadance, what is that? Why is there a nursery and why seems everything a bit to big?"
Cadance smiled sweetly and says: "Oh no. Everything has the right size." She says and wlaked over to the giant changing table. "Now, would you please hop on?"

Those are two, interesting ideas that could certainly be flushed out in lots of fun ways. If I were to choose, I'd go with the second idea. :)
That's the wonder of art and inspiration. So many ideas, so little time.
Have fun writing, or at least thinking, on your concepts. I'm sure they are both wonderful to play out in their own way and could make for a fun, post worthy work if time allows you to write either. :)
