It has to do with something called the mirror pond and Pinkie jumping in it making an army of herself pop out as clones causing trouble hence the EP name Too Many Pinkie Pies. It's assumed they were zapped back into the pond in a teleportation way but the darker idea is believed to be that Twilight killed them with that spell. It's like Jet from Avatar, never really made clear what happened so it's up to our imagination I believe. I personally believe they're all still in the pond very much alive but not truly self-aware like the original is so while they act like her, they wouldn't panic at what Twilight did to them given they didn't give that a second thought. I highly recommend watching season 3 & 4, good stuff. :)

Here in this picture however, seems to be a darker turn. The clone is self-aware and believes Twilight is trying to murder her with that spell like all the other clones hence the description, begging to live, to exist. Also brings up the question, what if she zapped the real Pinkie Pie then? If the spell does kill then Twilight murdered her best friend instead of a clone. Very dark right there.

JK, I got some major feels from this.

PRINCESS HEART: *Smacks Twilight upside the head with her gun hard* Idiot, you can't have harmony without chaos and vice-versa, it's a balance thing like the sun and moon, you can't have one or the other. Your spell could kill the clone, she's self-aware and practically begging for her life. And did you happen to think that the Pinkie behind you might be a clone as well and you'll never find the original cause you already killed her with the spell? If this is your idea of maintaining harmony Twilight, then congrats you lost the right to be Celestia's student and the bearer of the element of magic like the princesses lost their right when Nightmare Moon was banished.

Damn, isn't this a dark idea. But could we destroy her if shes sentient... even a little... I'll take her away, perhaps to another reality if need be. Good job drawing out the emotions of people who look at this one :o especially twilight's almost "Terminator" look on her face.
