The freaky-looking monster above Z here is his alternate form, Vectris. Vectris is nothing like Z, he's violent, crafty, criminalistic, and a bit posessive as the image here seems to say. Z fights a constant battle aginst him as he torments Z's dreams and thoughts in day-to-day life. But Z transforms into him in intense moments, giving him abilities of light speed and energy control. If going fast enough, he can even break metaphysical limits to travel through time.

About the pic itself, I *FINALLY* found a good eye/head style for Z that made him look expressive, but I think the nose is too small. And I still can't draw hands worth a damn. I might make this more elaborate or color it at some point, but i'll either be too lazy or too busy to do it. But I think this one came out pretty well.
