Its been almost a whole year since I lost you Tobie. I still Remember the day we brought you home, January 10th 2003. It was just after dinner and my parents told me to jump in the van, they had a surprise for me! When we got there we stepped out and walked inside, I had no idea what to expect, and then you came barreling around the kitchen corner and jumped right on my, All 7lbs of you! We brought you home that night and I held you the whole way there, I knew you were special right from the start. We had a lot of fun, you and I. I loved trying to teach you tricks and playing around with all of your rope toys. I always laughed when mom got mad that you stole the kitchen carpets and hid them under the living room coffee table. As the next couple of years came, you fathered a litter of 8 puppies! We were so excited that we drove all the way down to North Carolina to pick up your baby girl Roxy! You seemed so overjoyed to finally have a four-legged companion to have around all day. We started to grow older and I felt like I had the best dogs in the world. You two would always greet me when I got home and make sure I got you your treats! Then mom and dad decided they were no longer in love and dad moved to Florida and took you guys with him. I was heartbroken. I spent weeks just wallowing in my own sorrow and calling him often asking how you guys were. I mad plans almost immediately to come down for Christmas, which I did. It was a beautiful weekend spent with you three. Little did I know it was the last time I'd see you. about six months later dad called and broke the news to me, you were bitten by some insect and they couldn't help you in time......

I cried that whole day and I felt lost. I lost my best friend, you weren't a pet Tobie, you were my brother! I will always love and miss you! Don't worry though, one day we will meet again, and we will cross the Rainbow Bridge together! Rest in Paradise my friend
