I always have a bit of trouble with sketches. Not just your sketches... everyone's sketches. So it's not your fault or anything.
The extra sketch lines just appear as, uhm, "noise" to me that interferes with my ability to clearly see the image.
But anyway, I'll still try to comment to the best of my abilities... The first thing I noticed was the expression on both of them, especially Percival. It just seems so... sweet?
You say drawing any kind of embrace is difficult, but from what I can see, you nailed it. Yeah, it's tough making it look like they're actually, well, in an embrace, but you made it look completely natural here.

I understand! Honestly though, I tend to be able to "see through the noise," as it were... I often forget to clean up my sketches just because I don't notice the extra lines anymore! It's... A little embarassing, haha!

Well thank you! It can be really challenging for me to give Percival a sweet look , his face just really lends itself to glaring and looking angry! I'm always glad to hear I've succeeded at showing his softer side, though!
