About two months ago, I had posted an "EFF" comic gag that parodied the song "It Was A Very Good Year" (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12463742/), and I'd decided to create another gag with alternate lyrics to yet another song...
Just in time for both Mardi Gras and (appropriately enough) Fat Tuesday (in New Orleans and elsewhere), I've drawn a feline character - doing his best impersonation of pop star Lou Bega (right down to the pencil-thin mustache), performing his one-hit wonder "Mambo #5" - but instead of mentioning girl's names in the chorus, they've been replaced with the ingredients found in gumbo (a traditional dish served during Mardi Gras).
And since said cat loves seafood (shrimp, crawdads, etc.), he overindulges in gumbo - as all those multiple empty bowls illustrate - and his big belly escapes from the confines of the clothing he's wearing!
(Let me know what you think of my latest song parody, and if you'd like to see more variations in future "EFF" strips.)
