I think that when multi-mile tall babes come dancing through, it's a case of shock and inability to just plain get out of the way. Swingin' tail from one direction. Swingin' arm from another. Miles-wide bosom... well, he probably dove for that.
Now, having your plane stepped on while you're flying, that's gotta be a super shock.

Thanks. The clouds were/are the biggest pain in the neck. Wanted to find references of big objects plowing through clouds/fog/smoke/whatever but would up faking it as best I could from mental images.
I'm certainly glad to be ahead of the curve on the impacting jet thing, as I've been bouncing jets off of Zilena and Artie for years. :)
