Avalon Shadowcry Ref Sheet SL edition

I threw this together to show what i did to my SL character. It may not look like the best quality avatar. Because it's not. The newer versions just don't mold as well. Anyway. The patterns and coloring are all done by me. This is a look at my fursona from torso up. Lower portion is solid white fur. My eyes are a fiery orange wanted a brighter orange but the color pallet for the eyes was limited.

Quite an impressive look you have. Regardless if it's the best avi or not, it's still a very pleasant to look at one. Very nice, overall.

Glad you like it. I don't get on SL as much as i used to but i needed to get my fursona on this page so i could remove my old planning stage one.

I can get what you mean. I don't get on SL very much. I might consider getting on more one of these days and try to get my fursona made up for there. Trouble is that my fursona is VERY specific.

I know what you mean. I saw design after design and none clicked for me. I had to take pieces from everywhere and mold them together

That'd be the thing with the design for my fursona... There's a LOT of specifics that just don't exist and could be properly melded together. He'd have to be made perfectly by someone who knows their way around an avi. From what I hear, that's some expensive venture to let someone make that for you.

Yea I've saved up quite the Linden on SL been considering finding someone to build one from scratch.

How much did you have put away? I've got probably 15k right now. Doubt that's enough, but maybe a good quality one can be made with that. After all, I'd like my fursona to be heavily animated so that I could do anything he normally would do. That and I'd like to see someone give him a decent spraying animation as well.

lol well in all honesty i have yet to find a creator..... been a little lazy on that. But from what you see i bought a 200L tail with spray animation. Decent animation in all honesty not the greatest. The avi itself was from Luskwood. I got the maker of that avi to do the head texture for me. The hair came from a freebie avi 4 years ago. and the body texture i made personally. altogether i probably spent around 3k for it all horns to paws. I have 20k i am going to splurge on later when i find a creator to go into as much detail as possible on it.

Ahh... I've got a decent amount of cash just sitting in reserve right now and will continue to periodically pile up. I know a couple friends who may just be able to help me out with that. But, I want to find someone willing to help me out who can really put the time and effort into the design. I'm sure they'll have a lot to do when they take my 'sona on. I feel like it'd end up costing quite a bit.
