Sometimes, it is good to know a lot of different people. A professional bookbinder offered me to rebind my edition of Charles Johnson's 'History of Pyrates" I once bought in Key West.
The original book had been just paperback, though a complete facsimile. Taking the opportunity, I prepared several engravings belonging to the first original editions to be included, and several plates to unfold. The photos are just an example for this.
Still, I am so stunned how well this true craftsman did his job, giving me a unique rendition of this true treasure.
