SHE'S SO CUTE !!!!!!!!

She so is. And she's like this with everybody. My dad visited last Christmas and even though she had never seen him before she started cuddling with him right away

They really do. Rose and Honey they were called. Rose was so friendly even in their cage. Not once did she even try to bite me. Honey on the other had...She was really defensive in the cage. a finger goes near her and BAM she would be up against the cage bars...I'll admit she got me more then a few times LOL. the first time she got me was on the very tip of my nose... I still have the scar LOL. But take her out and she was just as friendly as Rose.

oh wow that really is a big reaction. The only time Mattei ever bit anyone was my brother who picked her up after eating a chicken sandwich, she could smell the chicken on his breath and bit him on the lip and tried to run away with it. She let go as soon as she figured out it was attached to him though.

LOL. most of the times...in fact all the times Honey got me I was purposefully getting near her in the cage. without putting my hand in the cage. that would be suicide LOL No I put my finger near the corner...and see if I could pull away before she got me. LOL Fun times.

It really was. One time when Rose was on my shoulder (she loved siting on my shoulder) I stuck my tongue out at her jokingly....She licked it. that was a shock.

Yeah. I tried it once with Honey the first time I had her on my shoulder (reluctantly you understand) same result.

Yeah they really were. They loved chicken noodles and Cheese. you sit down with a bowel of noodles and they would both be up against the bars LOL. Then give them some cheese they'd each go to a different corner to eat in peace LOL

These girls are popcorn fans. My god i've never seen animals go a crazy with the cute act as they then when i make popcorn

Cool. I don't we ever tried Popcorn with our Rats. I bet they would have loved it thought.

it was on a list of suggested treats that are safe for them but not to use microwave popcorn because of the artificial butter stuff. Also Mattei here is a fiend for mango

It's okay. She lived a happy life even with the cancer. She was a sweet heart, she was a lovable little thing.

i've only had two rats in my life, my sister's really, but the girl was always being given to me cuz she adored me despite how i used to be creeped out by her XD (i could never get into liking male rats and mice cuz of their ginourmous balls ><" at least the females i could tolerate ^^")

i think i may have to get a little squeaker to play with again someday. they were cute little buggers :) just as social as guinea pigs too! :D

Yeah they're pretty adorable little things, and there's no way to miss the difference between the males and females that's for sure.
The female rats tend to be really social and work best if kept with at least one other female rat. Otherwise they tend to get depressed.
