Here is myself cosplaying as Revolutionary Girl Utena Tenjou from the movie the Adolescence of Utena.
This is a very obscure costume, I admit. It's one I put a lot of time and effort into, and it makes me very proud when someone who knows the movie or appreciates the detail takes the time out of their day and mine to stop me and talk to me about it.
One lovely artist at this last year's Geek Girl Con, (and you know who you are), actually leapt out from behind her booth to hug me, then turned and berated the person she came with for not letting her dress an Anthy.
I am not a very social person; as such, you both terrified me, and made my day.
