Born under the snow and the full moon
Crux is part Lycan through birth due to Alphos being a Lycan, Crux is Alphos's great grandson and his Lycanthropy was dormant till he was bitten so naturally he was born a hybrid of human and Lycan, a halfbreed.
What else lies dormant in his blood nobody knows for certain.
