I've been watching Optic231's walkthroughs of the Fallout: New Vegas DLCs for the first time in a couple years or so. Old World Blues is definitely the most peculiar in its own respects. The main antagonists are a group of brains in robotic jars known as the Think Tank. From left to right, top row, there's Drs. Klein, Dala, and 0 (Zero). And from left to right, bottom row, Drs. 8, Borous, and Mobius. (I realize Mobius left the Think Tank, but I just had to include the old coot. He's hilarious.) After The Courier's brain (as well as the heart and spine) is extracted, you set out to recover your brain and resolve the threat of Dr. Mobius lurking within his dome-shaped dome in the Forbidden Zone (that is forbidden, TO YOU). Of course-spoilers-you find that Mobius is the one attempting to keep the others of Think Tank from going beyond the Big Mountain facility. (And considering they're amoral scientists that made a lot of the conflict in the first place, such as Borous' hand in the creation of the Cazadors and Nightstalkers, Mobius has good raisin for doing so.)
The Doctors all have their quirks. Klein is the obligatory asshat in charge who yells everything because of someone tampering with his volume controls. Dala has an...interesting fascination with the human body and thinks of you as a teddy bear. 0 resents that everyone gets his name wrong, but has pretty much given up trying to correct it. 8 had his voice module damaged and thus can only speak in erratic sounds (although if you have good Intelligence, you can deduce patterns of 8 in his "dialogue"). Borous regards EVERYTHING in a histrionic light and is obsessed with HIS GLORY DAYS AT AMERICAN HIGH (and hating that RICHIE MARCUS). And Mobius, as noted, turns out to be a senile old man who nevertheless has managed to keep the others in check through fear and playing supervillian when he's high on Mentats and Psycho. They also have some...interesting verbal quirks, such as the slurring of words ("unpossible") and Klein assuming all fingers and toes are penises. (Then again, Mobius, Klein, 0, and Borous are voiced by Cam Clarke, Captain Qwark, Rusty Venture, and that guy I heard in many video adverts. Bouts of hamming it up were to be expected.)
So, I decided to MS Paint my own take on them. But rather than make pisspoor attempts at realistic human eyes and mouths for their monitors, I decided to incorporate my own. Not the first time I've done this sort of thing, but definitely the first time I've done it for a picture this size. Not quite as close as I wanted, but for what I managed, it seems pretty decent.
