The Gnasher is a...strange animal, and just as troublesome for sailing vessels. They have the irritating tendency to attach themselves to the hull of a ship and begin to chew into the side. This critter is the cookie-cutter shark of the oceanic feline's world.

Goodness, yeah - birds and fish have a disturbing variety of different names depending on who you ask! XP I live in Maine, and it took me pretty much my entire life to finally figure out that the birds that lobstermen call 'Sea Witches' or 'Sea Hags' are actually Long-Tailed Ducks. So frustrating! XD
