I'm working on improving my lighting by drawing pictures with more dramatic light sources. This fits in very well with my love for Chiaroscuro and what better place to find great lighting sources than movie stills?

A few people have asked about my work process so I figured I would post a step by step.

Painted in the body. The textures were fairly difficult to do since it is a combination of cloth, leather, and metal. I've done plenty of metal before so that is easy enough, but I really need to remember to do a few studies on leather after this. Very difficult texture to paint. I'm pretty happy with this so far.

I am going to be doing the gun (which is going to be done blurred in order to keep his face as the focal point), some dirt on his gear, and lighting changes. By the next upload, it should be complete.
