Wow, just viewed the front shot too, and I must say this is simply amazing! If you don't mind me asking, how did you sculpt the scales?

Which scales? The body scales aren't sculpted up, they are like little divits. The larger ones, like along the spine, are just cut out. I didn't put any more clay on them just cut into it and formed them from the back itself (or the arms and legs, etc.)
