While this is awesome, I can't help but point out that you can't talk while freefalling because no one can hear you.

Were they just not yelling loud enough on mythbusters or something? I don't know, I haven't been skydiving, but I'm more inclined to go with mythbusters.

if you're talking about being in COMPLETE FREEFALL it's impossible. Since the voices don't travel as fast as you're falling.

Yeah, that's what I mean. What other kind of freefall is there? Does having a parachute open count as freefall?

Desmond in the picture realistically wouldn't be heard.

It doesn't look like he's in freefall. Considering that Dez hasn't sped up, and instead has been keeping himself leveled by keeping his body (semi) parallel to the ground.

So no, he's not in freefall. He's going fast yes, but not freefall. :D
