[CLOSED] YCH Auction - The Chase
There is a bit of a story behind this picture: it is also an official announcement for my upcoming comic titled "The Moon Princess", a fantasy story about an impossible love, clashing kingdoms and a lot of magic. So look forward to it!
The Auction
- For position 1 (red), I am looking for an equine character, e.g. a horse, zebra, deer, donkey, etc. Any gender, it won't matter in this picture anyways...
- For position 2, I am looking for a canine (wolf, dog, fox etc.), feline (cat, tiger, leopard, preferably a large cat due to the character size) or a bear of some kind. Again, gender doesn't matter.
- A background is included and will change quality as the bids go up, as will the characters' quality.
- The auction will end Thursday 20th of March at 23:59 GMT+1.
Bidding
- Bidding for both posts starts at €10. Please keep in mind that the currency is EURO (otherwise I get confused...)
- Bid increments at least €2 please!!
- Bid by replying to my post regarding your desired spot.
- Overbid someone by replying to their post.
- Only bid when you are serious, please..!
- As stated before, picture quality will go up depending on the bids according to this scheme:
> Total bids are between €10 and €35 = Coloured and shaded clean sketches with a simplistically painted background.
> Total bids are between €40 and €55 = Coloured and shaded line art with a medium quality background.
> Total bids are between €60 and €85 = Coloured line art, HQ shading with a high detail background.
> Total bids above €90 = Coloured line art, HQ shading with a majorly complex detail background.
- If you snipe-bid, I'll add 15 minutes to the bidding time.
When You Win...
- You will receive this picture in its original resolution over email if you want.
- You will have rights to repost as long as you mention my name, pretty please :3.
- Your character will make an appearance in my comic (if you do not wish your character to make an appearance, please say so).
- Your money will go toward a new laptop, because my current one is way too old for its job...

Reminds me of a story I wrote years and years ago of a Zebra stallion and a Lioness denied love.
After chasing them down the pride gave the lioness the choice of killing her lover quickly and she would be allowed to live or she would be badly mauled with him. She had a third choice of pushing her lover off a cliff and jumping off her self. I left it to to the reader to decide what she did.
