Dorf society trains basically three career paths:

- Axe Dorfs, pure career soldiers who typically focus on two-handed axe or polearm weapons.

- Hammer Dorfs, partial pacifists who only use blunt weapons, typically with less combat training and more training in defensive and healing magic.

- Crossbow Dorfs, archers and artificers who study mechanics.

And what about miners and merchants? All dorfs are miners and merchants.
