Shoot Me Down, But I'll Get Up
"You shout it out
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticized
But all your bullets ricochet
Shoot me down, but I get up
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium..."
-from Titanium by David Guetta
Because sometimes you just get tired of being the "strong one". Guys, I'm alright. I rarely draw vent art, so it was about time.
Done with copic markers, colored pencils, micron inks, watercolor, and white gel pen on smooth bristol. AND NO, BRISTOL DOES NOT LOVE WATERCOLOR. NOPE NOPE IT DOES NOT.

Mmm I know exactly how you feel. It can get SO tiresome being the stronger person.
I adamantly believe though that you are a good person hon. Always have. You'll make your way through this, even if the struggle seems overwhelming.
You is kind, you is smart, you is important. ALWAYS.

I, on the other hand, disagree. Wielder may fundamentally be powered by goodness, but she's modulated and directed by sheer unameliorated badness.
A lawful-good Wielder... no no no, that wouldn't work at all. It'd be like artificially vanilla-flavoured blancmange, all wibbly and wobbly and without a clear sense of direction. I mean... consider her situation 1.5 seconds after tihs picture, sprawled on the ground with her snout in a tuft of grass, meditating upon her panoply of justifications for Not Dying. What's going to work better: her need to forgive and cherish the person who just put a blaster bolt through her, or the prospect of enjoying the look of astonishment on their faces when she gets up, grins at them with all fangs and googly eyes, and tears off their faces?
