These are a commission for 
mindajacat to go with ears and tail that I finished for him forever ago. He wanted handpaws as slim fitting as possible, and it was a bit of a challenge.
I first tried sticking to the style of commercial glove patterns, as far as the fourchettes and other usual pattern pieces go. However, once I handsewed them all together, as the seam allowances were too small for a machine, I realized that I really wasn't happy with them. So then I decided to forget standard gloves and devise my own style of pattern, which is what you see here.
I also made it so you can operate a touch screen phone without taking them off. It's not super responsive, but it's enough to be able to pause your music, or do simple tasks.

You don't realize how far from the norm these are just by hearing the concept until you actually see them, woah xD I think I like the bulkier kind of handpaws but these look really sleek and neat! I think that's what I love most about your work, everything always looks so neat and tidy and amazing ;~;
Next one you do will be bird hands that they want the size of actual bird claws, they want the gloves to make their actual hands smaller than they are

I don't know if I really need to say this but: Shagpoke was /awesome/ to work with on this project.
Everytime she would say "I have to rip these things apart and try again", I would give her the option to not build them and every time she refused. I did not realize how much of a pain these would turn into but they look amazing. I am also amazed she doesn't completely despise me as a customer, after all that work.
With that being said: If you are looking for a tail, ears, suit and are contemplating Shagpoke, don't hesitate. She communicates /extremely/ well, and will take on a /huge/ challenge and keep fighting it until it's done.
