I honestly have NO idea what to say!! o.o *huggles you and promises Ty a hug next time she sees him online*
Thank you SO much for doing it sweety! <3 This is something i LOVE. You have no idea. I have all the history channels (history, history civilization, discovery, national geographic) and i want ALL of them and every program i see that's on, on Egypt. I love learning about it- especially the newest finds and facts. I actually taught my art history teacher a few things about them XD.
My FAV PLACE in Vegas is the LUXOR- IS AMAZING, if you ever have a chance to go- or find picture of the interior and exterior DO, its amazing to see. The rooms are even egyptian related enough that regular rooms seem special!
Anyway, I really favor Bastet for her looks and for what she stands for- all things i love and support. I have a small gold and black statue of her in animal form, but i've never been able to find a smaller statue of her in anthro form, especially in the same fashion
So i asked Ty that for christmas- he'd gimme something i can't afford- a commission- and Bastet seemed ideal to add to my collection of bedroom art. <3 i'ma print this out and hang it in a place of honor above my bedside table where i keep my bastet statue.... or maybe i'll put them BOTH in a place of better honor...i'll have to think it over.,..

;3; I'm SOSOSO happy that you like it! I was hoping you would <3 I already apologized to Ty_Kitty a lot about how long it took me.. but I still feel awful that your christmas present is getting to you like 5 months late -__-;
I was really excited to work on this though! I like Egyptian culture and mythology also (Haven't gotten my own Bastet sculpture yet, but my Anubis incense burner is right next to me, so it's a start XD) Plus, you're always so sweet to me and I was planning on making something for you anyways.. so this project was perfect! I re-colored it like, 6 times because I couldn't find a coloring/shading method that looked good enough (I thought this one fit the picture well though)
I have actually been to Vegas and saw the Luxor but I didn't get to go inside it. I was SOO mad! It looked like such a cool building and I can only imagine how impressive it would be on the inside! ;_;
